HGV Class 1 Shunter Wanted | Avonmouth, Bristol (DHL/Nisa) £19.00 per hour | 4-Day Working Week Are you an experienced Class 1 driver looking for a local, high-paying shunting role? We are looking for a reliable Shunter to join our team at the DHL SWROC (Nisa) site in Avonmouth.

The Package

• Rate: £19.00 per hour
• Shift: 16:00 – 04:00 (Nights)
• Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Sunday, and Monday)
• Hours: 12-hour shifts / 48 hours per week

Key Responsibilities As a vital part of our yard operations, you will ensure the warehouse flow remains seamless:

• Trailer Movement: Safely moving trailers between holding bays and warehouse doors using a TUG.
• Coupling/Uncoupling: Connecting/disconnecting trailers, including air lines and landing gear.
• Safety Checks: Performing thorough inspections for defects before any trailer movement.
• Yard Efficiency: Maintaining an organized site to minimize risk and maximize loading speed. Requirements
• Licence: Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) is required.
• Experience: Previous shunting or TUG experience is highly preferred.
• Mindset: A \"safety-first\" approach and the ability to work the fixed night rota.
